The A335 grade p11 pipe is a seamless ferritic Alloy based stainless Steel Pipe. The pipe is an alloy of Chromium Molybdenum. The presence of these two elements in the SA335 p11 pipe increases its mechanical properties. Apart from these two elements, ASME SA335 grade p11 pipe contains carbon, sulphur, phosphorus, silicon and manganese in trace amounts. For example, the addition of Chromium is known to increase the alloys tensile strength, yield strength, fatigue resistance, wear resistance as well as hardness property. The increase in these properties is ideal to prevent oxidation at high temperature applications.
